"Space is full of mysteries, and some planets outside our solar system are so wild, they almost sound fake! These are called exoplanets, and scientists are discovering them every year. Here are 5 of the most mind-blowing exoplanets you should know about."

1. Kepler-16b - The Real-Life Star Wars Planet

"Kepler-16b orbits two stars, just like Tatooine! Imagine a sunset with two suns in the sky. It's a gas giant, so you couldn't live there, but the view would be spectacular."

2. HD 189733b - The Blue Fireball 

"This planet is deep blue and rains glass sideways at 4,500mph! Winds are faster than any hurricane on Earth. Definitely a planet for humans, but totally fascinating."

3. WASP-12b - The Planet Being Eaten by Its Star 

"WASP-12b is slowly being destroyed by its star. Its atmosphere is being pulled away, making it a cosmic example of 'hot and fast' destruction."

4. 55 Cancri e - The Diamond Planet
